Brighton's annual snowfall of 437 inches, combined with inexpensive tickets and packages, make this area a not-so-well-kept secret. Most of the resort's visitors learned about the area from a friend.Lodging Information: Lodge at base with 20 rooms, second lodge three miles away with courtesy car. UTA bus services come up canyon daily. Camper parking available, but no hookups. Recreation Information: Touring center nearby with 15 kilometers of track, along with rentals and lessons; snowboarding with halfpipes and snowboard park. Night skiing available throughout the season on selected runs. Cross Country Information: Cross country terrain for snowshoeing and telemarking. Services: Cafeteria, snack bar and private club. Ski shop, specialty shop. No nursery. First aid building at area; hospital within 25 miles in Salt Lake City. Ski rental and repair at slopes. Cross country rental and repair available at Brighton Touring Center. Classes for telemarking, powder, snowboarding, junior, and children programs.
